Samples On The Go!!

If you'll get into a habit of organizing your supplies as they arrive it will save you time when its party day! When my samples arrive I get my zip lock bags out and package them for my upcoming parties.
The Spring-Summer 2011 Sample Assortment A includes:
6 - Blue Aztec Chips Sample
6 - Dried Tomato & Garlic Pesto Mix Sample
1 - Honey Teriyaki Sauce Sample (6 - 1.25 fl. oz. cups)
1 - Pomegranate Chipotle Sauce Sample (6 - 1 fl. oz. cups)
1 - Rhubarb Strawberry Fruit Spread Sample (6 - 1.25 oz. cups)
6 - Simply Southwest™ Seasoning & Rub Sample (0.4 oz)
6 - Twisty Grahams™ Sample (3.5 oz.)
1 - Vine-Ripened Salsa Sample (6 - 3 oz. cups)



When your samples arrive, get 6 zip lock bags and add one of each sample into the bag. On the outside of the bag write Assortment A. Then when you go to a party all you need to do is grab a bag and go! I like to keep a note on my host coaching checklist that we sampled Party Food Kit 1 and Sample Rotation A so when her friends book a parties we can sample Food Kit 2 with Assortment B. Take time to get organized, remember, time is money so don't waist it!


Zip Lock Bag - When the party is over I put my black plates in the bag then bring them home and throw them in the dishwasher! Easy clean up!!

Host Folders



Now that my Tastefully Simple business is growing and I'm keeping a consistent party schedule, I had to get myself organized so I can keep up with the individual needs of each party. Its easy to forget who has which food kit or who needs more invitations. All the details can run together, I had to come up with a system that worked for me so I decided to use an expanding file folder for my system.


I like the file folder system because I can place everything I need for a party in the folder and it keeps me organized. I also like it because its portable and I can take it with me to make host coaching calls or client care calls as I'm on the go. Here is a list of what I place in each folder...

By having these supplies in my folder I'm setting up my party for success. After the party, I place all the order forms in the file so I have a reference if any questions should arise. I don't have to scramble around to find someones order form, I just go to that particular party and pull the file. After the party I add the party party recap form so I know what to expect for the next party.


After the party is closed and I follow up in two weeks with a courtesy call to each client, I then place the whole file in another file box that I keep at my desk. Example: If I close the party in June, I'll place the file in the August slot, then when August rolls around I call those clients to see if they would like to restock their pantry or book a party to restock their pantry FREE. You work hard to get your clients, don't let them get away by not following up with a client care call. If they like our products, their going to find them one way or another and they may just find another consultant who is also looking for clients!

Keep them loyal to you!

Party Folders

When I go to a party I want everything organized and ready for a quick set up so I have time to meet the guest as they arrive and talk with the host. When I start the party I want the guest to have everything they need in one spot so no one is looking for a pen or someone needs a catalog or someone needs a door prize ticket. I like to start organized so we don't have to stop and waist time. Time is money and I don't like giving either of them away.I found these folders at Staples a few years ago and wish I had more but as my parties have grown I've added the solid color folders. I like the clear/frosted ones because they showcase the catalog.



In the front of the folder I have a pencil pack in which I keep business cards, pen and if I'm doing a game or door prize I'll keep those supplies in there as well.



I use two page protectors and I utilize the front and back. In the front cover I place our Fresh Features which I change out monthly. These can be found by going to the following:

  • Market Your Business



  • Lapboard Inserts


Make sure you customise them with your contact information. Never give out anything unless it has your information. They may not remember your name and will choose a different consultant




The next page I copy the map out of the Gazette Magazine. I like to copy this because again its a numbers visual to my guest. I mention what a great opportunity TS and as they can see we're not swamped with consultants so there is room to really grow a great business. When I show them this map you can see eyes lighting up and those are the people I zoom in on for potential consultants. I don't change this page but once every few months or as the numbers on the map make a significant change.



The next page I change out often. I like to spark ideas in their mind so I'll change this page to match the holiday or a seasonal flyer. My guest love these.


On the last page I keep several copies of the Everyday Easy Recipes. I encourage my guest to take them home if they would like. Most of the time when they take them, they purchase products that are featured in the recipes!



The last page I keep several order forms. Why several? Because during my party I stress that we ship directly to their home so if they need to ship a gift to someone there is an additional order from for them to do that. At this time I also mention our military and that they can ship to APO address. Many people love to send gifts to encourage our troops...so why not send TS!!



After the folders are all stocked and ready to go I place them in my handy bag from TS and I'm off to the party. Like this bag? Well, you can go HERE to order one that is even better then my bag!
